  1. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in 2015 in Accounting from WVU. My undergraduate GPA was 3.35. I have no research experience, but have a master's in industrial relations from Cornell and my GPA in that program was 3.6 I have some work experience (1 year as an accountant in the public sector, and am currently in a leadership development program for human resources at a fortune 500 manufacturing company) My initial GRE was a bit too low for top PhD programs, especially given my undergrad GPA. I recently took a practice exam and got 163V, 156Q. I believe I can raise the quant score with some study. So given my stats, what are my chances of getting in a top tier PhD program for Fall 2020 admissions? Is there anything I can do (like retaking the GRE, for instance) that will improve my application for a PhD program? Any input will be truly appreciated.

  3. Hello! I almost never log in to this site. I'm super excited about my acceptance (Cornell has been a dream school of mine for a long time). I got an apartment in Fall Creek and plan to move in late July. My name is Jesse Proctor in case any of you folks want to add me on Facebook or any other sites
  4. I'm not sure which school to choose. Cornell is a two year program and they were able to give me comprehensive statistics for salary and placement of graduates, but it's a bit more expensive and far from my family. Hopkins is a one year program, but due to the diversity of graduates, they were unable to give me sufficient data. However, it is much cheaper and much closer to home. Both schools are beautiful, but I don't know which to choose. Cornell seems like a sure thing, as far as financial success is concerned. But Hopkins' business programs are relatively new, and certainly on the rise. Can anyone give me details on either program?
  5. Has anyone applied? If so, which programs and what kind of grades/test scores did you have?
  6. Hello, I just joined this forum, so I apologize if I put this in the wrong place. I'm having a hard time finding any admissions data on the NYU School of Professional Studies and I'm going through some panic about whether or not I will be accepted (I applied for a Master's in HR). My undergraduate GPA was 3.35 (BS in accounting), my GRE was 312 (161 verb, 151 quant), and I have around a year of professional work experience. Am I qualified for NYU? Thanks for any help in advance
  7. My first choice, as well. I'm beyond anxious
  8. I applied to NYU for a Master's in HR. Also going to apply to Georgetown and Cornell. Not sure if I'm competitive and anxiety is eating me alive, but praying for the best 3.35 Accounting Undergrad. 312 GRE (161 v, 151 q, 3.5 awa)
  9. I applied to their Master's in Human Resources program. Super nervous
