I'm trying to decide between an interdisciplinary program in cognitive science and philosophy, on the one hand, and a PhD in cognitive science, on the other, both in California and with full funding. Trying to decide whether your general boredom with philosophy is genuine or due to your gruesome MA dissertation process has been incredibly taxing :/
I just got a letter of acceptance from UCSD. Kinda late considering the other acceptances went out nearly a month ago, but hey. No complaints. No word of funding yet.
I come from philosophy and applied to 9 philosophy programs, but just today received an acceptance from the 10th program: UCMerced's Cognitive and Information Sciences program, including full funding
Hey! Another Fulbright PhD applicant from Chile. I have only received one reply from the IIE through Fulbright —a rejection from UW-M—, but according to the survey, several other programs to which I applied have already sent acceptances, waitlists and rejections :/.
