Hey, everyone. Thanks for clicking into this thread. I have just got accepted by San Francisco Art Institute Photography MFA this year. It is a good news to hear but I am still not 100% free from the anxiety. I know this school has a rather long history and many famous alumni and alumnus, especially in photography field, like Annie Leibovitz. But it not accurate to measure the quality of school only by some individuals achievements. So I really want to get some first hand information about how do you think about the education they offer (like faculty, campus and facilities) there and experience about living in SF (I heard its a really expensive city to dwell) and how do you career go after the graduation as a photographer (or artist) Since I am an international student so it will be great if there are other international students who attended SFAI can answer my questions. I am really grateful to everyone who read my post and please give me all the information you have about this school. I really appreciate your generous help.

Yup, I do heard the rumor about this school and that's why I want to get more information directly from students. Which schools are you waiting for now? I hope the good news will arrive soon!

Congratulations! I got their offer as well. Are your familiar with this school or do you have any friends attended there before? I have some difficulties with finding detail informations about this school, especially their teacher student ratio in MFA, facilities quality and post-graduate (career related) information. Thanks a lot and we may be classmates this fall.

Got an offer from SFAI yesterday. Is there anyone hear the same here? It will be great if I can get some first hand reviews from the current students, alumni or people who are familiar with this school. Thanks, and wish you guys all the best.

I also heard not all programs consider interview as a must, some of them will give out the offers without interviewing.

Hey guys, I sent emails to schools, asking about the interviews and one of them just replied me . The officer asked me to provide the legal name I used for application. Does that mean they can look it up whether I will be interviewed and will there be any harmful effects to my application? I guess at this point I am a bit over sensitive now... Thanks a lot for helping me out
