There's a good chance I'll be there this fall too! If so, I'll be looking for an affordable apartment/small house close to campus that will allow me, my fiance, and three cats to live comfortably.

Ugh the waiting! Finding this site and realizing how slim the odds are actually makes me feel a bit better because I don't have that stupid hope anymore.
