It was a tough cycle but we'll get them next time. What is everyone's plans?

So when I wrote to one the schools I'm waitlisted at they told me, " Your GRE scores are below average. You are however under consideration". Can anyone decode the meaning behind this?

Can someone comment on how bad the weather is? Should I be constantly worried about getting struck by a tornado or hurricane? How are the drivers in Dallas?

I've got an offer from a school from Dallas, but am freaked out after my cousin told me about the prevalence of roaches inside apartments and all the other creepy crawlies. I'm from Boston so I'm not really used to all this wildlife stuff...It gives me the chills

@ead5457 I accepted elsewhere. I just couldn't wait any longer. Good luck to you if you haven't got in anywhere and are waiting on them.

So, I got accepted to Texas Women's University and I'm out-of-state from New Jersey. I eventually plan on returning to NJ after grad school, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it buying a car for only two years. However, I hear public transport is horrible in Texas. Do roommates share a car? Should I use uber or rent a car?

I feel like I'm the only one. Anyone else still waiting on a response from this school? I think I'll end up accepting my other choice.
