Adv & Disadv with MFT vs PsyD in Clinical Psych or even Doctorate of MFT? I'm stuck between the two..1 I can see patients quicker, but 2 chances for research, teaching, prestige..etc.

Which would you advise to go for? Thoughts among Antioch University's Masters in Clinical Psychology, PsyD from American school of professional psychology, or PsyD from Alliant University. Based in Southern California, so those are my options thus far.

If a professor asks applicants to send in a cover letter and CV as an attachment of an email, should I write something in the body of the email, as well? Necessary or overkill?
