Hm, yeah. I guess I'm just hesitant to spend all the money on flights and hotels and take time off work if it's not going to receive accreditation. But could be a risk not to take it too. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon anyway!

I read on the match rules that programs must be accredited by March 15 in order to participate in the match. I applied to three new programs, so hopefully at least one will be accredited in the next month!

I haven't heard of that making a difference! Maybe if an interviewer senses some hesitancy about an interviewee moving across the country, then the chances of acceptance would decrease?

Does anyone know when we may hear from Baylor? I have a UT interview and I was hoping to do them together. Or has anyone had luck with asking programs when they'll hear- not sure if it is ok to do so?

Is anyone else completely gridlocked? I have an offer to a second choice school who is pressuring me for a response, but am waitlisted at my first. Nothing seems to be changing. So stressful.

Any specific trends you've found for genetic counseling? I keep finding a lot on genetics in general, a lot of which relate to crispr-cas, but it's hard to find specific GC related stuff!

Ladies, what kind of shoes do you think are ideal? I'm a bit worried about heels because I don't wear them often and I know most programs have tours + a lot of standing. Are flats formal enough and if so, what kind of flats?
