  1. MiCaB has started sending out interviews; not sure if they were sent out all at once, though.
  2. Undergrad Institution: Ivy, strong bio research reputationMajor(s): BiochemistryMinor(s):GPA in Major: 3.3Overall GPA: 3.6Position in Class: N/AType of Student: Domestic maleGRE Scores (revised/old version):Q: 164V: 170W: 5B: N/AResearch Experience: (At your school or elsewhere? What field? How much time? Any publications (Mth author out of N?) or conference talks etc...) In HS, did research for 2 summers that amounted to a 2nd author publication and a national conference poster presentation (Is this too old to include in an application, since it's been ~6 years?) Undergrad, worked in a cancer immunotherapy lab for 3 years, 1 poster presentation, mid-authorship on a manuscript that has been in the works for over a year now; the post-doc I was working with put this project on the backburner and has not reached out to me about publishing it for a while; I'm currently planning on just listing it as a manuscript in my application Currently an NIH postbac working in an HIV lab, submitting a manuscript that should be accepted by the time applications are due. 1 local poster presentation, 1 international presentation that will take place after apps are submitted, but my abstract will be in before then. Awards/Honors/Recognitions: (Within your school or outside?) Dean's List junior/senior year of undergrad NIH poster day presenter award Pertinent Activities or Jobs: (Such as tutor, TA, SPS officer etc...) N/AAny Miscellaneous Accomplishments that Might Help: I volunteered in a science tutor/mentor capacity with underserved students both in undergrad and at the NIH Special Bonus Points: (Such as connections, grad classes, famous recommenders, female or minority status etc...) Took several grad classes in undergrad and achieved A's Current PI is a major name in the field that will write a very strong recommendation letterAny Other Info That Shows Up On Your App and Might Matter:Definitely a strong upward trend with regards to science grades; as a couple of other posters mentioned, I had C's in a couple of organic chemistry courses earlier on, followed A's in almost all of the rest of my courses. Applying to Where: UCSF BMS Stanford Biosciences- Immunology Yale BBS Immunobiology Rockefeller Columbia Immunology Baylor College of Medicine Immunology University of Washington Immunology WUSTL Immunology Emory Immunology/.Molecular Pathology University of Chicago Immunology Harvard Immunology Considering: NYU,U Colorado, U of Minnesota Applying second time around; hopefully my additional research experience. Please let me know if there are any immunology programs I should add to my list/replace other schools with, esp those that would not be considered reaches!
  3. Same for me as well. Theoretically since the accepted student deadline is the 15th, we should find out soon after, right?
  4. I tried emailing the Immunology head person on the bioscience website, but she's out of town so I emailed the person she mentioned in her default away email.
  5. Do you know if they sent all the Immunology emails out already? Was not expecting a response this early, but am disappointed to not hear anything from them yet.
  6. Do you know when MCB is going to start officially sending out interview emails?
  7. Slowly but surely I will steal all of your identities from this thread
  8. I appreciate it, so I'll be distracting myself with finals studying. Congrats to you though!
  9. Holding out hope that the emails are being set one by one...

  11. The email said they were excited to talk about my research and mentioned what I talked about in my application specifically.
  12. @pitchfork @asdfghjkl1 I just checked, so excited! Can't believe they personalized our emails lol
  13. I'm applying to Johns Hopkins also, but for CMM and Immunology. If you're referring to the previous post about a Johns Hopkins interview from this thread, I believe that was for CMM, so I wouldn't stress too much about it.
  14. Add new dates in bold: Yale BBS MMPP: Feb 24-26 Rockefeller: Feb 23-24, March 2-3 Havard BBS: Jan 26-29, Feb 9-12 MIT Biology: Feb 11-14, Feb 25-28, March 11-14 Sloan Kettering: January (Jan 12-15 once appeared on their website but they removed it for some reason) WUSTL: Early Feb Stanford Biosciences: March 1-5
