Ahhh. She's checking SGS website if it reads "under review" not ROSI. Based on past forums, If she was wait listed/rejected there would be no change to her account in ROSI. Again, she's not checking ROSI.

Confused by your comment Re: your friend. Anyone know of others who aren't posting that are in different streams who were "invited". ROSI checking is a gift and a curse. Looking forward to actual letters, should be end of the week or early next. And then move on with life

It seems that many who received invites from UofT for Advanced Standing are in the mental health stream. Has anyone from the other streams received an invite as well?

Congrats to everyone who saw on ROSI they were accepted to UofT. Few questions: Did your SGS account change to decision made or does it still say under review? Do your last names begin with a letter in the first half of the alphabet (A to M). What are second round admission waves?

Nada. I have a friend who met with faculty almost 3 weeks ago for an interview with the MSW ITR program at UofT and is still waiting to hear back. Waiting as well for advanced standing from UofT. An update email would be nice - they must really enjoy fielding these calls from applicants asking WHEN. Website does say mid-February though.......are we past mid-February? lol

I know we sort of touched on this on the other forum, but hoping new members or others can provide any/new insight. Does anyone know why UofT offers so little funding to their MSW students versus schools like Ryerson (some get up to 15k) or York (granted smaller classes and work opportunities)? Also, are there opportunities available at UofT for MSWs to TA or be RAs? Thanks in advance.

I am sorry to hear this. I'm not sure if I can add anything more to what others have said. It is very true though your passion and persistence will contribute to the incredible story you will tell. I was curious, did your SGS change to 'Decision made'.

I have no idea, but from creeping on these forums as well lol it seems like last year was a weird fluke, if I'm wrong someone can correct me.

UofT held interviews for the MSW-ITR applicants 2 weeks ago and should be advising them this week, then I believe it is Advanced Standing the week after or so.

Just curious, what the average age is of everyone in here applying to grad school? I'm 34.

Get a friend, who could care less about this process, to give Angela a call to see when results are being released if you want. That way, you didn't call, the person who did doesn't care, but you'll get an answer.

Just out of curiosity - has anyone confirmed this with Angela at UofT? Or is this information just based on years past and Yweang's information?
