Hello guys, I am really headache about the decision. UNC biostas PhD : no funding yet Upitt, OSU biostats PhD: full funding UNC definitely the best, but I haven't got a RA for the first year, should I still go there? Money is not a problem but how about I cannot find RA in the second year.... Also, OSU and Upitt, which one is better? Any help would be appreciated !

You are not alone...but do you think JHU is not safe(much crime)? For me, I won't go there even if JHU is good. Anyone else?

Hi everyone! I made a phone to UNC-chapel hill yesterday and was told that I was admitted by UNC biostats PhD. Could anyone please tell me about funding in UNC? Also, I am interested in machine learning, any professor recommended? Thanks!

You can take it with petition and prerequisite completed, but most students do not take graduate level courses.

Thanks. I am taking a 5000-level real analysis, which is mainly for some engineering masters and phds. As for math master or phd, they have a 6000-level one. But as for undergraduate, Baby Rudin is not used. I really suggest that Ohio State open undergraduate analysis courses based on Rudin which is a classic book. By the way, I think OSU does not have enough analysis for undergraduate since there's no measure theory for undergraduate but some universities do.
