  1. Will do, thank you very much!
  2. Thank you both for chiming in! I will look into both suggestions. XD Anyone else?
  3. Hey everyone, Perhaps too specific of a question, but I was curious if anyone knows of any MFA programs containing faculty that flirt with ideas of nature/culture and humanity's relationship to wilderness. I have done quite a bit of sleuthing with little results and thought It couldn't hurt to cast a line out here as well. Thanks for any leads and I hope the application process is treating you well! It's currently driving me crazy... XD Edit* I should add that I'm currently in the process of applying to ASU, OSU, UO, PennDesign, and potentially UCLA? (Not all for the reason above.)
  4. Pretty sure this depends on the school. Recently attended the informational session at the UMN and was told that their Graduate Assistants (working as TAs, Gallery Assistants, Facility Aids, etc.) get paid $20/hr--well above minimum. I don't know about other schools, though.
  5. Meghan, Your link doesn't appear to be working. XD
  6. Thank you for clearing that up! Has anyone else done this differently?
  7. Hey all, I have some questions in regards to submitting photos for an MFA in photography. In the applications, there is often a place to include dimensions and material for each image in the portfolio. In situations where one is submitting a photograph of another piece of art, this makes total sense. (example: sculpture is 20ft x 17ft, etc, etc, etc.) However, when it comes to photography, the expectation is less clear. As some of my photos are actually scanned prints from a dark room, I can give specifics in size printed, paper type, and film used. But, some of my photos are digital and have therefore not been previously printed. My questions are, for Photography Submissions: Do I list materials and dimensions for digital work? How about printed work? What details should I go into/what details should I skip? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Ben
