Did you hear anything from Vanderbilt? I saw that you have also applied to Vanderbilt. Good luck for Stanford, it looks like they are having hard time to decide this year.

Did any body hear from Vanderbilt biomedical informatics program? I heard from all schools about their admission decisions except Vanderbilt. I got in to the program that I was excited to join, so it does not matter that much to me. I am just wondering why they did not send their decisions yet.

Congratulations. when did you have your interview with Harvard BIG? I have not heard anything yet from them. what does this mean? rejection?? you may know from the interviews with them.

Oh No.There is nothing to be sorry about. Don't worry about it at all. I was just telling you that your situation is better than many people when I read you were disappointed by MIT rejection. Good luck for you. I hope you will join your first choice school. Are you targeting Stanford? I guess

Don't get disappointed at all. At least you have received an invitation from Stanford for an interview. That was my target school, but they did not even consider me for an interview although I consider my application strong. I have not received anything yet from Stanford, not even a rejection letter. I assume it is coming soon:( I should be the one who is disappointed:(

Thanks for the advice. It looks like my application is not as strong as yours. I have engineering degrees from one of the top 5 schools in the nation with very good grades. However, my background in biology is not strong. My engineering research was related to medical images but nothing very biological. I think that is what is weak in my application although I have high grades:( congrats for you and good luck. Inform us about Stanford. I was hoping to go there for PhD, but my hopes are diminishing now knowing that they may have already selected the interviewees. I hope I still have a chance.

Thanks for this Forum. I have also applied to stanford biomedical informatics, but I have not received any phone call last week like you. Does this mean I am rejected?:( I did not receive any rejection letter yet.
