Finally! Something works! I tried starting new topics as well, to no avail. I sent a message about the error but nothing seems to be happening. Hopefully we'll get an update on the issue soon...
Also I got an email today saying my application was incomplete and was about to have a COMPLETE meltdown until I discovered others in different programs with completed applications got the same email. Glitches abound today.
