  1. I had that! Usually you can simply unsubscribe (there is nothing "bad/sketchy" going on, they simply still have your email from your application). If there is no button to unsubscribe, email them that you want your data deleted.Should work out.
  2. highly unlikely. After all, the people want to go home at some point. And if I project the behavior of my professors on the Duke adcom/DGS they are not working past opening hours.
  3. Woah, woah, woah. Not so fast, I take it.
  4. If nobody claims Duke, it ain't true!
  5. Well, only the Americans. And I doubt they call anybody on a Sunday. And since nobody claims the acceptances, they are - at least in my book - fake.
  6. Maybe its the only school they can spell? My favorite was that sb posted yesterday that they got called by MIT. *facepalm*
  7. I remember that. But from what I can tell (past cycles on the results page), Rutgers is not due for another week. Earliest may be the end of this one.But given that the current cycle has been full of surprises (e.g., Princeton sending their results out way earlier than normal) I would only use past cycles as rough guidelines.
  8. One of my professors always says that there is only one way to find all the typos, errors, and mistakes you made in a piece you wrote. It's clicking the submit button. After that, suddenly everything jumps you in the eye. So, don't worry about it. ___________ Edit Reason: I saw a mistake which made the entire sentence illogical.
  9. Usually, I'm not one to do this but: I TOLD YOU SO! Congrats! Yes, I am. And I know the people at A&M well (pre-recruitment visit in December). So all of that might factor in. Let's see whether they send out more acceptances once the week starts again.
  10. It really makes the weekend so much better, particularly after Berkeley and Princeton sending out their official rejections on Friday afternoon - right before the weekend.
  11. Sorry, just let me know when you hear from them! You'll get in - no doubt.
  12. Thanks! They send it out at 9am Central. And don't worry too much: I might have gotten it today/this early as I was part of the people visiting in December already. Stay strong, and I'll see you in March in College Station
  13. Just got accepted into Texas A&M. Email by the DGS including official letter and funding package.
  14. That means almost certainly: WEEKEND! (one last semi-stressed weekend before the rejections will come in next week :/ )
  15. Maybe they stick to this "tradition." Maybe they decide to torture us? Who knows? The possibilities are endless... :/
  16. Maybe Duke but I have Penn not on my radar for another two weeks.
  17. It's just the word that somebody is sending out acceptances that makes everybody nervous.
  18. No worries, first thing I did after seeing it: check my email and refreshing it for 10 times within two minutes.
  19. It is too early for Yale. They are usually one of the latest. I declare shenanigans!
  20. And that they notify in the *RIGHT* way today (aka send acceptances to those who aren't piling them up )
  21. The question is ... what aren't we waiting for?
  22. Duke and ND! i assume Duke may come tomorrow, if not then next week. Next week is also ND, PSU (feeling), as well as a possibility of Michigan. (if they are kinda early)
  23. I assume so. I have put February 10 down as the time to expect Stanford's decision (based on previous years). So, lets see whether it comes next week.
  24. Princeton is 100% a no, if you haven't heard from it yet (source: insider) Northwestern is 99.9% a no (source: somebody on here said they had to reply until Friday to set up their travels for the open house) Berkeley, I don't know. On the one hand, some people got acceptances but there is not that much definite information as for the other two. ------- Disclaimer: I don't know whether there is some difference in PT. Good luck!
  25. I would like for Stanford to come through too. But I fear that when they email me, it won't be the type of email I hoped for.
