Does anyone know any information about Hofstra and Molloy that can help me make my decision? They are pretty close in price and are only 10 minutes from each other.

when is the open house? is it the same day as the accepted students day on april 7?
-
So happy for you! Unfortunately I didn't

Did anyone apply to Monmouth University? When do you think we should start hearing from them?

Still waiting to hear back from every school I applied to (10 schools to be exact) and I'm going NUTS!!!

Congrats!!!! Mine still hasn't changed...ugh.
Did you send everything to the processing center in Massachusetts? I was so confused by their application instructions.

Well that's alarming. Their deadline was super late- February 15th. I guess we'll see!
I go to Kean University now and I'm in their Pre-Professional program. I know they just gave out their decisions for the summer cohort so the person who posted their rejection on the Results page was probably rejected for the summer!

Omg I didn't hear from them yet either! And I applied to them a few days before the deadline. Smh. This process is so frustrating especially when you hear other ppl have already heard back
I applied a week before the deadline!! But at least we're in this together!

I just got a request from LIU Post. I've seen that others have gotten interviews (and I think acceptances) so I'm assuming they're rolling. I applied last minute the day before the deadline. I haven't e-mailed back yet, but there doesn't seem to be a Skype option hinted at. If there isn't, I will most likely withdraw my app.
Ahh lucky! I've been refreshing my e-mails constantly because I know a ton of people who have heard back from LIU Post and I haven't yet

I have an interview with Mercy, was invited via e-mail. I replied to the e-mail but never got a confirmation that my e-mail was received. Should I be concerned that my response was never received??
I wouldn't be concerned! I replied to the e-mail and didn't get a confirmation that it was received either!

it's embarrassing to say but my GRE scores are lower than yours and so far i got accepted into 1 program & 2 interview offers (in NY)
Good luck!
I applied to NY schools too. I have around the same GRE scores. What programs were you accepted to/got an interview for?

Babysitting is always a great way to make money while going to school!

Is there anyone else who hasn't heard anything from LIU Post yet?

It wasn't so bad. I would say it's about 30 mins, maybe 45 mins! Dr. Rubenstein, who is the clinic director, is a pleasure to speak with and I felt comfortable the entire time. It is a chance for them to get to know you. You basically just talk about yourself and why you decided a career in speech pathology was for you. She asks you to talk about an observation (e.g. goals, what the clinician did..) and she talks to you a little more about the program itself. She really is great and you can tell she loves her students and the program.
That doesn't seem so terrible! Btw, I graduated from Binghamton in 2015!!

Not sure about schools in other regions but I had an interview with LIU Post on 1/27/17 and an interview request via email for NYMC, yesterday 2/1/17. Left a message with the administrator at NYMC and now waiting for a call back.
I applied to LIU Post but I haven't heard back from them yet. What was their interview like?

Hey fellow New Yorkers! I applied to 4 NY schools. I was going to apply to 5, but one of the school's application process had me super stressed out and it seemed excessive so I decided against it.
1. SUNY University at Buffalo
2. SUNY Fredonia
3. Nazareth College
4. Ithaca College
I just want to hear back from them already... even though the deadlines for most of them haven't come yet
Hi! I'm from the NY area too. Where did you get your undergraduate degree?!

Hi all! I applied to UCONN, Southern, and MGH. I wish everyone good luck over the next few weeks as acceptances hopefully start coming in. Does anyone know if we have to submit a new transcript for Academic Update on CSDCAS? I haven't yet. My friend who also applied to MGH called them and was basically told that it doesn't matter because they won't look at your application twice.
Hi! I'm pretty sure once your transcript is verified you do not have to submit a new academic update! lmk if that helps!

I applied to 10! I may apply to 1 more because I'm not confident that I'll get in anywhere :/
- Kean University
- Monmouth University
- Seton Hall University
- Mercy College
- Molloy College
- LIU Post
- LIU Brooklyn
- Touro College
- Hofstra University
- Nazareth College

I checked one of my application status's today and it said they did not receive one of my transcripts!!! i sent my transcript on Dec. 1 to the wrong address (oops) so I just sent one to the correct address today!
the deadline is Feb 1... if the school doesn't receive my transcript before then will they not look at my application even though i submitted it about two weeks ago???

I was wondering if anybody knows if grad schools take into consideration where you went to get your Bachelor's. For example, if someone gets a 3.8 GPA at a lower ranked school versus someone who gets a 3.4 GPA at a higher ranked school. Would they take the person who got a 3.8 at a lower ranked school over the person who got a 3.4 at a higher ranked school?
