whoa is everyone's yale rejection letter different? I thought it was generic? This was mine: Dear Nerve, The Admissions Committee of the Yale School of Drama has carefully reviewed your application for admission for the 2017-2018 academic year. I regret that we are not able to offer you admission to the Playwriting department. Enrollment is highly competitive and limited to only three students per year. As a result, it is not possible to accept many candidates like yourself whose education and background in theatre might have qualified them for admission under different circumstances. Thank you for your interest in the School of Drama, and best wishes in your career. Sincerely,

What's. Up. With. Columbia. Anybody got any notice?

It's not embarrassing to have the courage each year to try again! It's really commendable, and now that I'm rejected, I'm trying to pump myself up to try again for the next round. On that note, does anybody know what to do about telling Yale to keep my account on file so I don't have to go through the fiasco of having to ask for whole new set of recs for next year?

does anybody have even the faintest guess as to what the number of applicants for Yale could be?
