  1. My interview was in the 3rd week of February and I got the informal acceptance e-mail 2 days ago. My status on SGS changed to 'decision made'. Now I'm waiting on the official letter in the mail! I applied for the course based stream, not executive. Has anyone heard back from McMaster? I'm still waiting to hear back (Iris said this week). Not worried about it though since I'm going to be choosing UofT!
  2. Sometime in the early afternoon. Check SGS, My status changed to 'decision made'. Offer letter should be coming in a few weeks! Very happy about uoft since it's my first choice!
  3. I got an email from uoft yesterday that I'm in! The offer email will be coming in the mail (hopefully soon)! I'm almost sure I will be accepting uoft but will wait on McM! .
  4. Sorry to hear about the rejection from uoft.. Did you receive the news through post or email? Best of luck in London.
  5. Has anyone else besides me also applied to McMasters MSc ehealth program? I just got an update from Iris saying that they're finishing up interviews and will be deciding on candidates next week! Hopefully I hear some good news, but I'm also going to be waiting to hear from UofT before I make my decision.
  6. Good to hear about the interview. I was at the webinar in November for uoft and Julia said that there is like 175 applicants, they interview 75 and like 35 get in...That's why the wait makes me nervous..Hopefully everything goes well! Any reason you chose to apply for uoft only and not McM also?
  7. Has anyone heard anything new? Curlygirl, how was the interview? I'm still "waiting it out"..havn't heard anything from uoft or mcmasters. Hopefully we get some news soon!
  8. Hey, the questions were just typical behaviour interview questions, like "describe a challenge you've had, why this program, tell me about yourself", don't be nervous, treat it like an opportunity to meet the professors!
  9. uoft sent me an email in Feb with a date and time for the interview. Not sure how their interview priority works though, it could be random and they just interview people based on domestic/international students..who knows. I wouldn't write off the chance for a uoft interview just yet just because I've read some people have even had interviews in April! Maybe you could contact uoft mhi grad department and ask? I think thats what I would do in your case
  10. Lets hope we hear something today. I'm checking the admission status and my email a few times a day so I'll post here if I get any news! Lets keep each other informed!
  11. I thought it was a standard interview much like for a job with a lot more focus on behavioural questions. I think I talked too much and could have been unclear in some of my answers, but overall I think if you practised behaviour style questions it should be OK! Check out last years MHI thread, lots of people had late interviews. I have a couple of years experience working in healthcare, some volunteer experience and I learn coding for side projects and generally for fun. My GPA overall was like 3.something and last 2 years was 3.7. I've heard some people were accepted during their last year at uni with no professional work experience too.
  12. Had interviews with UofT and McM. Havn't heard back anything. After the interview Iris at McM said they'll send out information this week. Hopefully we find out soon! Anyone else heard anything?
