Hmm for me it says:
Program: International Affairs
Program granted (in case of transfer): International History
Do you think this means I've been admitted to International Affairs or International History?
It is true in Switzerland that they take very seriously workers rights. Pretty much all shops are shut on sunday and during the week almost everything is closed by 7 pm so that workers have time for their families.
So it certainly wouldn't surprise me if they did in fact have a 2 hour lunch break.
I got an offer from University of Copenhagen (MA in Advanced Migration Studies) and from the research I did it seems like the standard of teaching is pretty high in all main Danish universities. They just don't have the same level of name recognition as schools in other countries.
I don't see anything on the results page. It looks like there have been 6 rejections (and 0 acceptances) at Masters level for international economics but so far no one has reported anything for the Phd.
Someone got into the Development Economics phd but that's all I see.
Yes I think this could be. It's why you apply to LSE after the Oxbridge deadline so they don't reject you based on them thinking they are your 2nd choice.
If you click on that little red diamond it shows most of the people had a GPA scored out of 4 and GRE scores so whether or not they are American nationality it means they went to American uni.
Same haha. If that guy with 4 published papers and 2 masters didn't get in then I can't imagine what my chances are. At least I fit the American and French speaking criteria (if that really exists)
EDIT: maybe they thought he was overqualified or something lol
