UCI's closed the waitlist. Disappointed but still have hope for the second match. Thanks for everyone updating about the UCI status these days.

She said similar things to me when I called this morning. That really made me feel much more uncertain about my waitlist status at first. But now I'm a little bit relieved. With people turning down their offers/waitlists any minute, my acceptance phone call could also arrive any minute. (-stay optimistic!!!) Thank you so much for answering my question!

You're giving me more hope on UCI! Congrats on the SLC acceptance. The GC I'm shadowing now graduated from there. And I heard a lot of good things about it. Enjoy your 2 years training there!

Just got a call from UCI and I'm waitlisted. It's actually a great news for my current situation! The director mentioned the informing process could potentially last to Wednesday. So the torturing waiting's been prolonged... I'm going to recharge my phone.

I suppose their admission process is not as integrated as other programs for it's their first year to set up the whole thing. Maybe there're some communication issues during the notification process. But I'm not sure...

Same experience here. For me it's Rutgers. It really made my morning more dreading.
