Ok not to be a jerk but I am starting to feel like a lot of these posts are just not accurate. Someone says they already interviewed at Yale. I spoke with Yale and they ONLY do interviews for all departments between March 22-26. Its just not possible that you had a yale interview. Should I just assume now that everyone is messing with me? Interview / no interview. Acceptance/no word. After talking to admissions people at a lot of these schools it seems what people are posting are just not accurate. What should I think??

Are these interviews in person or over the phone?

When you email these schools to check up, what do you say? I would love to check on a few schools but I don't want to be pushy. help?

I am based out of California so this might be the reason but I have not heard ANYTHING from a ton of the schools people have heard back from. No rejection, No acceptance, NOTHING AT ALL. I got an interview at Yale via email but everything else seems to be MIA. Any thoughts as to why this is the case? I am anxious and completely confused. No Word: RISD MICA Pratt SVA NYU Columbia any ideas would really help.
