It seems like in my letter it was a generalized blurb about this being a possibility. I have just seen from someone else's reply on here that they are only given to three students with the top GPA's (which makes sense, because in all honesty mine is average)

Hi everyone, I received my acceptance from Carleton University 2-year MSW today around 1pmEST! I AM IN SHOCK. I received the email and the decision was immediately reflected in Carleton Central. It is my first time applying and I didn't think I would get in. I was offered a $6000 scholarship. I was not offered a TAship, which I was hoping for. Does anyone know if this is even an option for a foundational year student? I'm hoping for everyone else's acceptances and looking forward to hearing about them! Hope to meet fellow classmates as well!

So exciting to see an acceptance!! For everyone else, I'm right there with you! On Carleton Central, it says it is still be reviewed by the faculty of graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs! No change in mine since late Friday (approximately near 5pm). I'm hoping for some sort of change today!

It is changed on Carleton central at the moment. I doubt there I will see any progress over the weekend, yet I am checking over and over!

I stand corrected! I just checked again despite checking three times today already and it has changed to "Review in Progress by Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs" Check again, it only happened in the last hour!

Hi everyone! First of all, congratulations to those who have already received acceptances! And to those who have faced some rejections, I am sure there are acceptances coming your way! I only applied to Carleton's MSW 2 year and I am still on the "review in progress by department"! It's become a joke between my partner and I Everytime I check it now. I am hoping to hear good news! Holding out is so hard

@smntoronto I am planning to apply to the Carleton MSW foundation year program! I currently have around 4850 hours of work - as for not sure whether or not to rapply, I really can't say! I think a lot of new grads are in the dark about how requirements are weighted when it comes down acceptance. Perhaps you have more experience you are not counting? I think a lot of experiences can be worthy of their hours when applying.
