Sorry that I was unclear about some things. Hope this clarifies :). My program works like this: the passing grade for a class is a B. If you get a B- you have to remediate. If you get one C, you have to repeat the course. If you get two C's you are removed from the program. I am not sure of whether it is on an individual basis or the same across the board, I am not sure. There are a handful of students that are struggling as well. The students in the past have done well, but the department chair informed the Fall 2017 students that we are being held to a higher standard so they made the program harder. We received papers back with grades on them. If we went to see her, she would give us feedback, but she would not help with anything before it was handed in.
