Rejected today. Applied for advanced standing clinical residential. 4.0 Gpa, NASW award winner and scholarship winner for my writing skills, have amazing experience and am an active campus member, President of social work club and member of 7 national honor societies... so much volunteer experience and overcame many hardships in life. Can’t believe it. Although I must admit, I am relieved deep down. Good luck to everyone else!

Still nothing today maybe next week. I tried calling and nobody answers

I didnt even apply to any other schools........ I know! Im crazy! If I don’t hear back by tomorrow I’ll call

Nothing ? I’ve already called two times since I applied 11/30.... but it’s been 4 months!!!! This is ridiculous! I don’t know what to do anymore! I want to call again but I know they won’t have anything new to tell me...

Not snowing here today yet at least!!! Maybe today will be the day!

@Sunset95 I’m so sorry you didn’t get the results you had hoped for. I still haven’t heard anything (applied 11/30 priority advanced standing clinical) UPenn is an unbeleiveably prestigious school, equal to Columbia in my opinion. Very impressive, and you should be very proud. As everyone else said, not a rejection!!!

@doctormelody aw it’ll be ok!!! I can imagine that being even more nerve wracking!! I’m also extremely worried. The drawn out waiting process is making me question myself. Praying for good answers this week! Maybe tomorrow will be the day.

maybe in person would get more info? probably unlikely since they have to give the same generic answer to everyone to cover all their bases... but still worth a try! take one for the team! lol thank you!

OK i called again....lol..... she said they cant give any details other than they are working through priority applicants and to be safe she said we will hear within 2 weeks. No use in calling anymore... we must practice patience! (easier said than done!)

I had called I believe two weeks ago (maybe 3) at this point and she had said within 2-3 weeks all priority applicants would hear. She assured me no responses have gone out based on application stength. Only based on date of submission and concentration. So don’t lose hope!

If what they told me was true when i called... she said rejections have been sent out and they are going based on concentration and date of submission. I also applied priority on 11/30 for advanced standing but for clinical practice and still have not heard.... im really hoping by today or tomorrow.

I called already last week but didnt specifically ask where i was in the queue... thats a good idea! I can't imagine how many calls they must be getting every day.

Yes priority applicant for 1 year program. I applied 3 days after @JonoDuncan but for the clinical concentration, so i was hoping that would mean i would hear back this week!
