  2. did anyone screenshot this / remember what it said? It's deleted now, but I'm just curious.
  3. I'll be attending Harvard as a Ph.D. student in the fall, and I'm a bit lost when it comes to finding apartments. I know that most of the leases start on September 1st, but my program requires us to be in the area for orientation on August 23rd. Because of a job commitment this summer, I won't be able to move until around August 15th, and I'd rather not pay for all of August if possible (though I could if necessary). I also have seen that August 1st leases aren't nearly as common as September 1st ones, which would make me even more hesitant to do that since I don't want to be living somewhere for a year just because it was one of the few okay options available. Any advice? Would trying to do Airbnb or something from August 15th - September 1st even be worth it? Would that even work out well in terms of actually moving (I plan on buying most of my stuff other than clothes once I'm there since I don't have all that much non-clothing stuff to begin with).
  4. I'm in the exact same situation! I emailed twice, heard nothing back either time, and when I called the woman who answered sounded very annoyed and simply told me that the decisions were still being made. Still don't understand why I wouldn't have gotten the updated graduate education information email though, so I don't think I'm still being considered at this point :/
  5. Wondering the same thing! It seems like last year the four people who posted their acceptances on the Results page all heard back on the same day. Prior years seemed to be slightly more spread out though?
  6. According to the Results page (if you search "Harvard Chemistry"), the acceptances for Harvard went out like January 25/26 so I'm assuming it'll be similar this year. As for Caltech I'm not sure.
  7. Does anyone know for MIT and Stanford what the likelihood of being accepted after the interview is?
  8. I got the same email and also haven't been contacted by a member of Chemistry's admissions committee - I feel like replying might not be worth it but I'm unsure.
  9. Does anyone who has received an acceptance from Berkeley know when the visit weekend dates are? I got the acceptance notification via email from the Graduate Division, but they didn't include any information about visit weekend / financial package and whatnot.
  10. Oh yep for some reason I couldn't figure out what the S stood for lol - I got an 870 (93%)
