  1. Advanced clinical social work practice is just the name of the clinical track. Advanced standing is the 1 year program. Confused me too at first.
  2. You could call and state that. They are aware that other schools have deadlines too and I wouldn't be surprised they know that NYU has a deadline of 3/15.
  3. Clinical or social enterprise, which specialty in your track, are you priority, what date did you apply, online or residential, etc. This way we can kind of know where things are for certain people.
  4. I called on 2/23. It was still we will hear back the first weeks of March. She stated that no acceptances or rejections have been sent out. This would kind of line up with the person who said if others have heard back then they aren't from my program BUT then how come someone else was waitlisted then under my program? But we don't know if they break it down further by what specialization you do in your track which wouldn't make too much sense. I'm considering calling again, but I don't know if they track how often you call and shit and I would hate to be annoying even though at this point we should know if others are getting information. To further add, last year people were hearing throughout March as well. So maybe we are overthinking something that is supposed to be happening like this lol
  5. What specialization in clinical? Okay so a waitlist means they are out of spots at the moment. That means they have people who should know. I applied 12/1 and haven't heard anything.
  6. That's just it, I haven't seen any clinical people really unless I'm missing them lol
  7. I'm losing track of who got in and when they applied...lol Did you get in and when did you apply?
  8. I see a lot of social enterprise people... Where my clinical people at? What have you been hearing? I applied online clinical 2 year, focus on health, mental health, and disabilities.
  9. I think I'm even more confused at this point. It makes sense if they admit by concentration, but are they going to differentiate residential vs. online, then are they going to differentiate between mental health vs family services, etc. etc. I want to keep going with hope that it is just a complicated system that we don't truly understand, but if I see someone who got into online, clinical, mental health track applied after 12/1 then I'm going to call BS lol
  10. Has anyone who applied here do the online advanced clinical with focus on health, mental health, and disabilities? Is that the specificity of program release she meant? If you applied the same as me, when did you apply and if you got in lol Not to say I don’t believe the person, but I haven’t seen anybody posting rejections yet. Which might make sense some won’t want to share but it could be because they haven’t sent those out period for whatever reason.
  11. If you’re comfortable, you mine sharing some of your stats/extracurriculars? Youve got to be doing something differently to get a fast response before priority people lol
  12. Everyone else who is waiting just remember... Based on last year's cycle with Columbia, mid March people were still getting acceptances... Don't lose hope just yet and if you don't get in, you will get in somewhere else.
  13. Not necessarily. We have no idea how sending out acceptances works, what rejections look like, and if there is a process to how they send things out. You could always call, state this, and report back to us
  14. Now I'm wondering how often it happens where there is an update before an email goes out lol I'm overthinking this when I should be working
  15. Does the update on the portal appear on the first page after you login or does it appear after you actually go to your application? Curious where it is.
  16. Where did you hear they are releasing decisions last Thursday? It seems to still be some people here and there that get it and no real full release yet...
  17. Was Monday just the next day, or are we expecting something possibly Monday?
  18. Not here. I was looking at the email I got for "Your application is complete!" and it does say that Fall would be released in March lol I also applied December 1st and got my "Your application is complete!" on December 6th.
  19. To be fair, looking at your sig, you've heard back from every school minus Columbia right? It looks like most people have too. Will be interesting to see when/how it happens
  20. It is probably as easy as calling and saying you won't be attending and they keep your money.
  21. I mean the staff did say the first few weeks of March. If we don't count this week, then that would be two weeks from now. Plus if we look at the 2017 thread, a surge of people got their admission notices in February. We haven't seen that surge yet so maybe that will happen soon? I don't know, just staying positive
  22. I wonder... So according to one person here they have 30 days to make a decision of attend or not attend. I wonder if the 30 day deadline for those folks will start the next round of admitting folks? I don't want to think we are the leftovers, but maybe its a case of they want the top folks/people who applied super early to get first dibs before they start rolling admissions?
  23. I'm 2 year online masters. So maybe she meant that in my program they haven't made offers yet? I know I beat the 2017 thread deadhorse, but this is pretty normal if we go off of that. There were a few offers and then BAM a bunch came out. It would make sense they go for the most qualified / priority applicants first and then start rolling it?
  24. Some update. I called today and they said they had a lot of priority applicants and hopefully first few weeks of March. So once again, maybe next week or the following week lol The lady I talked to was really nice and answered all of my questions. The priority people will get answers first, except she said that no acceptances ( or maybe offers?) have been sent out yet. So I'm curious if people who are posting on here are under something else?
