  1. I have sent you a PM! Feel free to get in touch with me through that.
  2. Also on the waitlisted for funding train at Washington! Congrats to all!
  3. Absolutely! They may not necessarily expect them, but they will most likely appreciate them. It is also a great time to follow up on any ideas brought up in the interview. Has some comment a faculty member made about your work stuck with you? Let them know. Don't try to force it, though; a simple thank you is enough, too. I sent out my thank you emails the morning following the interview.
  4. I’m on the languages and literature side of the field, so it was the Classics program. Best of luck! I hope for a quick and positive end to your waiting!
  5. Thank you so much! Best of luck to you!
  6. Congratulations to you, too! I will be at the prospective student event, so I hope to see you there! I’ve been fluctuating between disbelief and joy...
  7. Congratulations! I’ve had a whirlwind few days. Between Tuesday night and last night, I got acceptances at Chicago, UNC-CH, UPenn, Stanford, and Berkeley. I’m not really sure why this is going so well, but it’s a pretty stark turn around from my first round of applications two years ago. (And I’m still waiting to here from Princeton and University of Washington.)
  8. Not yet, my current plan is to reach out to them tomorrow near the end of the day to check in. Thanks for the offer! I’ll be sure to reach out if any questions arise.
  9. The first was with Chicago!
  10. I've been lurking for a while and finally made an account. I felt a lot of nerves for my first interview, but once the Skype call started, I calmed down, and the conversation came naturally. My next interview is with Penn, and I'm hoping the same thing happens for that, with perhaps fewer pre-interview nerves!
