For those of you who sent in your application to LIU Post, did anyone just receive an email right now from their undregrad admissions?? I got this email from their freshman admissions about them needing my SAT scores and high school transcript. I’m like, “yeah this doesn’t look right.” I emailed them and they said it was an error. Should I call the GC program just in case?

Has anyone here applied to LIU Post even though they’re accreditation is under probation? I wonder how this year’s cycle will work considering the changes taking place at their program...

I also just got that from Emory today. I’m also completely lost. Is getting an email that it’s in review a way of them saying “we didn’t totally ignore your application for this cycle”? Because I got rejected from every school last year and they never sent any such emails.

You’re absolutely right! Although, I don’t feel as bad this cycle about getting rejected. I think that’s because I have a backup plan this year, lol.

Sooo I got an email from Indiana State today. They wanted to tell me that my application is ready for reviewing and will notify me if they are interested in interviewing me. *insert Will Smith saying “please help” meme*

Wasn’t their deadline the 22nd? I believe that’s what it said on their website. I submitted mine a few days before the 22nd so I hope I am considered ?

I know! It’s such short notice. I feel like it should be at least 3 weeks in advanced.

Arcadia has some real chutzpa. I just got something in the mail from them. They sent me a postcard in the mail that just says, “Your application has been completed and is being reviewed! Thank you for applying.” I need a drink after that. In other news, I still haven’t heard from Florida or UMichigan. Has anyone else?

How do you find out this info? I’m checking my spam over and over in case I get anything. Oh, I also forgot to including UColorado. Haven’t heard from them either. Good luck to you! I hope you get in!

Hokay, I finally got the courage (and patience) to make myself an account and join this forum. Second-time applying, this time I applied to 14 schools (thank you, Mom, for covering the application fees). My GPA is 3.10. I was a research assistant for 1.5 years during undergrad that primarily focused on dyslexia and other learning disabilities. I was a helpline intern for NEDA for almost a year AND I shadowed three different genetic counselors in cancer, prenatal and perinatal genetics. I retook genetics because a lot of the schools suggested I do that to up my chances of getting invited for an interview (I got an A this time). I also did more shadowing for this year. I retook the GREs for the third time and got preeettyyy much the same score as both previous times ( V 150, Q 146) however my writing score went up to 4.5 which is way better than the last one. I am nervous, beyond belief. I thought applying to 14 schools would put me at ease but it hasn’t. I still haven’t heard a peep from any of the schools I applied to in December (USF-Tampa, UMichigan, UIndiana, Ohio State). Has anyone else? I’m so glad this forum exists. Thanks for making this process more human for me.
