    I really did like it there. It's definitely the type of school that you have to make it good for yourself. But grad students are super involved and its wonderful. The studios are pretty nice, and most graduates end up teaching/working on collaborative projects for the school. The school also has tons of hidden gem classes and special topics if you are interested in expanding. I learned how to make close to 8 different types of paper and how to use paper as a sculptural form from GMU.

    Ayyyyy!!! GMU!! Where I did my undergrad. I'd be happy to answer questions on that. also, applied to VCU and haven't heard back yet.

    I've seen it pop a few times in here. But anyone apply to VCU and heard back yet? I'm still waiting as I got nothing. I applied for their Painting + Printmaking program.

    My one friend got into Cal Arts with the highest financial aid they give. She's currently there with a 38,000 dollar a year stipend for doing her graduate school research there. She only pays 14,000 dollars a year for her tuition.

    It was via email with a PDF doc attached to it with a waitlist letter. so now I wait which is keeping my nerves real high.

    I heard back from UMN, I got waitlisted for their Printmaking department. I'm not sure if their school is sending out notifications by department though.

    When does everyone typically fill out the FAFSA? Do some schools request you do it before you get accepted?

    As someone that is currently in the gap year between undergrad and applying to grad, taking the year off has been nothing but rewarding. While I do have a few friends that went straight into grad from undergrad, that gap year can really be a great time to figure out what you want. It's so different taking time out of school to develop your practice, while also being an adult and working full time. It's really helped me feel more prepared for applying to grad schools and has helped me refine what my research will be. That being said, I hope you get in to where you applied, but if it doesn't happen take the year off and just make some awesome work.

    Weightlisted for UMN Twin Cities. Actually really surprised I didn't get a flat out no, since this was the application I messed up on hardcore with my artist statement. Anyone else hear from them? also waiting on responses for: - Ohio State Uni - VCU - Tyler School of Art all for their Printmaking programs.

    Okay, been following, but also applied and haven't heard back yet for any. So I'm getting worried. I applied for Printmaking for the following schools. - VCU - Ohio State University - University of Minnesota Twin Cities - Tyler School of Art Anyone hear back from any of these?
