it would have been nice if a lot of other fields were also as popular ... for instance the Econ section is pretty dead

What's the verdict on this new season? I can see they're trying to give the show some story arc, and I think they're pulling it off. It's just interesting enough that it's worth watching each week. However, others I have spoken to think it is a waste of time. Just interested to know your opinions.

UPDATE: Feb 17: We're making a few more changes to the server hardware today. We have to get it done ASAP, so at a couple of points later today the site will be down for 15-30 minutes at a time. Total downtime will be less than 1 hour.
UPDATE: Feb 17 5:40pm EST Will have to reboot again later today. But it should be quick. Hardware updates are done for now!
Final notice. Will do the reboot later in the week. Forum and Site are kind busy now.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but you all have better things to be doing, I'm sure

I loved the latest episode because it reminded me how conniving and manipulative Ben truly is. I never would've thought after the first time they introduced him he would play such a prominent role.
When he was first introduced and claimed to be Henry Gale, I really believed him! I'm not sure he's all that bad now though. I think he really is protecting the island ...

Hi Guys
The site will be down for a few hours this morning whilst we attend to some hardware and software upgrades. Expect it to be back up around 10am EST!
UPDATE: 1255pm EST. The upgrade is complete. We'll have to do a bit more later in the week, but things should be a bit more stable and a bit faster now. Sorry again for the short notice and sorry it took so long. But hey, take pity on me, I've been up since 5am :-( And a good friend of mine back in England gave up his Sunday!

Hi Guys,
The Cafe is has been pretty busy over the past few days. You might have noticed crashes, lagging and strange error messages.
Rest assured I'm taking steps to make things more reliable, investing the possibility of moving to a new server or upgrading the current one. I'll post any updates here.

Believe it or not I spend a bit of time each day, 'normalizing' the data. I should really re-write the submission system so it does it automatically, but there's only so much time in the day !

Other than I think the Ben character is excellent, nope? I think he orchestrated the whole adoption legal case to get everyone back together. Next week he'll get Sun back under his thumb too, when he tells her Jin is still alive! Shaping up to be a great season!
