    Congrats! I got into Stanford ICE. Are you going to the admitted day?

    I didn't. But according to grad cafe's surveys, the decisions were released on March 2nd for the past two years.

    Stanford's ICE MA program is supposed to send out decisions tonight/by the end of the week. Anyone else applied?

    Rejected from Yale, which means I have heard from all 3 of the PhD programs I applied to (with three masters to go). Didn't think that I would make it into a doctoral program straight from undergrad with minimal background in sociology, but so blessed and humbled by the UC Irvine acceptance. I only joined a couple weeks ago, but have had a great time going through this agonizing waiting period with you all. I wish everybody the best of luck!

    Who posted the second Yale acceptance? Can you tell us more about how you were notified? Did you have an interview? And congrats!

    Me too. Fingers crossed decisions will be released soon. Would like to know one way or the other.

    You can always call without telling them your name, so I imagine it wouldn't hurt?

    I heard UCLA has, but I haven't received one, so I'm assuming it's a rejection.

    They also said that they are waiting for a "final headcount of who's attending the Open House", so I'm not sure if that means they have sent out all of the admission letters.

    Thank you! If you don't mind sharing, do you have post-bac working experiences? I heard Harvard GSE doesn't like people applying straight from undergrad.

    Congrats on the Harvard GSE acceptance! Is it a PhD program? I applied to one of their MA programs and haven't heard anything.

    This may not answer your question, but will your trip be partially subsidized by the department? Can you try and secure additional reimbursement to attend the open house?

    Same here! Even though I'm very happy with my acceptance, I can't wait to hear from the other schools so that I can make plans for everything.

    I am also an international student, but am fully funded for six years at Irvine. It might be harder to get funding, but it's definitely possible!
