  1. I got an interview with CUNY! Very excited about it, their faculty is super cool. Still no word from Chicago or Michigan, but it's starting to look like implied rejections from them...
  2. Thank you so much! Like @Saltshaker said, I can't like or upvote anything else today haha but thanks y'all for your affirmations! <3
  3. I got accepted to Columbia!! I can barely believe it... full funding and everything. I'm shook. Congrats on the Cornell and IU and UVA and Pittsburgh acceptances! You guys are killing it.
  4. Congratulations! That's really exciting. Thanks for the info. I'm hoping they're just doing it over the course of a few days... Or something. Fingers crossed!
  5. Oh god, a bunch more Michigan acceptances since I refreshed the page...
  6. Hey folks! Glad I finally found the Comp Lit people. I applied to CUNY, Chicago, Michigan, and UC Berkeley. Still no news from any of them. I saw on the results page that someone was admitted to Michigan Comp Lit today, though, so I'll be refreshing my emails all day... Good to be here with you all!
  7. I know! I was so intimidated haha.
  8. It was Pierre Force, Souleymane Bachir Diagne, and Thomas Dodman.
  9. Bonjour, tout le monde! This is my first day on gradcafé, and I'm really happy to have found you all. I mostly applied for Comp. Lit. programs (interested if anyone else here did that, too), and only one French department. I also had my interview with Columbia today! I really have no idea how it went, except that my wi-fi crapped out ten minutes in, and we had to conduct the rest of it on the phone rather than Skype... The questions they asked were pointed, but fair and interesting. It seemed like they only wanted me to speak French in order to confirm that I could really speak it haha. Anyway, I'll just be lurking and biting my nails for the next few days! Nice to be here.
