    I applied to painting and haven't heard anything yet. Was told decisions wouldn't be made until late March-April. I read only 3 people are accepted into painting. Not sure about the sculpture intake. Apparently they base their decisions not on who has the most brilliant portfolio but whom they think can learn the most from the program...Hope this helps.

    Ugh nothing from Berkeley for me, though there was someone who got an interview a while back. Just had an 8 panel skype interview with Cal State. Bloody terrifying.

    Painting notifications for UCLA have not been sent out yet to my knowledge. When I called they said March/April.

    Nope...no word from either. I have an interview with Cal State tomorrow though

    I am going to interview on March 2nd. I received an email last Friday (the 16th).

    Is anyone graduating from their BFA in June? I keep being rejected and am wondering if the fact that I am applying whilst completing my undergrad is working against me. Could this be a factor?

    I applied to 8 painting programs. Yale and Hunter both emailed me telling me my decision status had been updated and to check my application online. Rejection letters from both of these programs were waiting! I also applied to Columbia and Berkeley - both programs have sent out interview requests and I haven't heard from them so I am assuming rejection letters will be sent at a later date. I've heard rumors about acceptance without interview but I can't find any evidence of this in my research... Hope this helps.

    I was rejected from the painting programs at Yale + Hunter so far.

    I was just sifting through my inbox to double check dates. Although I emailed regarding the missing rec on the 12th (which was the due date for supplementary materials including recommendations) and was told it was received in slideroom -- it shows up in my app as being submitted on the 16th, so obviously there is a delay on their admin side. I think it's worth calling just for your own peace of mind but you're probably ok.

    When I was checking my Rutgers app after submission, I noticed that I also had a missing rec. I emailed Daonne and she told me that one of my recs had been uploaded to slideroom instead of the university application. She said she would transfer the letter between the two portals. I did receive a confirmation email with my Application ID number. I would definitely follow up if you're unsure and it's an important school for you - if it's an admin issue then it's probably not too late to fix

    Acceptance without interview??? Is this a thing? Please don't taunt me I'm assuming I was rejected from Berkeley and Columbia as I did not receive interviews for either.

    Some people just take rejection harder than others and need an outlet. I'd love to go to Yale but hopefully another school will work out. I think everything happens for a reason -- in the very least to keep us humble but in the most because a better path is out there. Trying to stay positive
