Hi there. I've been following this thread for months but this is my first time reply. I mostly applied for PhD programs in the history departments but I also applied for the HEAL program at Harvard. I was told to have been wait listed by HEAL and I am wondering what is the possibility of getting off the list? I should have posted the result but somehow there is some problem with my internet that I couldn't do so.

@kindkw123 Thank you! I guess it's probably going to be Prof. Bin Wong since I focus on the environmental and economic history of the Qing Empire. I am not familiar with the other two professors but I will definitely talk with each of them on the visitation days.

@lordtiandao I am the one who reported admission to the UCLA Chinese history program. Currently I am in China now so still thinking about whether to visit in early March. My husband is there and I have booked a flight ticket to visit LA in late March. Are you planning to visit?
