In the past it’s been late on a Friday. I’ve got it on pretty good authority that the decisions for sculpture, probably the other depts too, will come out Friday night kinda late.
@rebkhan haha yeah it does! I've felt quite patient through this whole process in general but i'm finding myself less and less able to distract myself.
Word. It’s a small group and everyone plays a roll, however they end up building this years group is anybody’s guess. All you can do is be yourself and make good work. Good luck everybody. I guess we’ll all probably know Friday?
@rebkhan I thought it went well. A little nervous during the presentation so it’s hard to tell how that went, not too bad though. but the interview portion felt solid. All questions were very related to the work, nothing I was uncomfortable answering. It became quite loose by the end and I felt more able to converse naturally.
@Positive Vibes @Hemlock028 Yeah, I'd be happy to. My interview is on the 27th and I'll be updating my website in the near future to include the newest works in my application. I'll link it here once Its sorted.
First time poster here, I’d really appreciate any help/ tips anybody has:
I have an interview with the sculpture department and was also wondering what the deal with bringing new or supplementary work is.. I’ve been working on other apps this past month and while I’ve still got a bit of time to make sculptures I’ve been mostly reading and drawing, kind of giving myself space from my last push of sculpture work and trying to generate new content. Just wondering if they expect you to show up with new/supplementary work to your portfolio or if you can just focus your presentation on talking about the slides submitted in your app?? Thanks
