I received an interview for hunter directly in email, while my application status still says “submitted” unlike other schools that told me to check my application and they status changed

Soo I just got an interview invite for Hunter painting ! I was freaking out after all the notices yesterday. Also - my email letter is dated yesterday, I think they forgot to send it ???

hey all - just seeing this thread. have my interview for painting on march 1. wondering whether people are bringing old and new work, or choosing a selection from a consistent series?

same for me... weird since people have gotten rejections and acceptances. i was talking to friends currently in the program, who got their interview notifications early march last year. i live in nyc, and they said maybe they are sending out interviews to people from further away first to plan for travel? so confusing. when i got my interview for yale, people got rejections same day... maybe hunter staggers as they get through applications?

applied to four schools for MFA in painting. got an interview at Yale (march 1), rejected from Rutgers. still waiting on Hunter and Columbia. anyone hear from them yet? guessing it will take some time
