Bah, schools West of the Mississippi....is anyone else stressing about UNC today?

I haven't heard anything from TAMU, either. As of late January, my application was routed to the department for review.

Broke down and called the Poli Sci Dep't at UGA. Was very nicely told that the Poli Sci Dep't recommended me for admission, though the grad school has final say. Official letter is due to be sent out at some point, funding decisions to be made in March. I'm counting this as an admission, yes?

Got an email shortly before 1 PM, admitted to U. Kentucky!

Officially dinged at UVA.

Seconded all around. Oh, have any other UGA people heard anything/had their Admission Tracking Database page changed to reflect that a decision has been made?

That really fucking sucks, man. I'm sorry to hear that. One of my profs still hasn't submitted my LOR to about half of my schools, and doesn't reply to emails or calls. (OK and KY both emailed me to let me know they were missing, and I'm trying to get ahold of the prof to even just email the LOR to the grad coordinator.) ND must be interested in you, since it seems like they're telling you that they WANT to review your app, and even find someone else at a late notice, and they'll review you. I'm not sure what WUSTL's policy is, but we're all hoping for the best for ya... *EDIT: Also, nothing from UVA!

Mine was incomplete until, I dunno, an hour or two ago? Of course, now I'm driving myself nuts wondering as to the nature of the decision...

Woah...as of today, UGA changed my status to, "We have notified the Graduate School of our decision on your application. You will receive official notification of their decision in the near future."

Yep, the UNC-UVA contingent remains on the hook. It's not insane to hope that we hear something in the afternoon, though, now is it? Well, the one thing worse than not knowing where you stand with them could be knowing....

Is anyone else applying to UGA? The "Grad School Admissions Database" notes that my page was last updated today, but with no decision posted or any other changes.

From what I understand, UVA's not the most generous school when it comes to stipends, though I've been misinformed before. (I'm also questioning the posted admit a bit.)

Cool....I received that e-mail on `1/26, (last Monday).... Not sure what it all means, if anything, but sharing info's always a plus.

Arrived home to find a small envelope from Texas A&M...that contained instructions for setting up my "NetID", for checking my application status. I think they're just screwing with me, now.

A new TAMU acceptance is on the results page. (They received word January 14th?! Less than a month after the admissions deadline?)
