Today: was rejected from U Michigan (I emailed for an answer after weeks of silence; they said they sent out offers last week); I accepted U Iowa and the Iowa Arts Fellowship for Film. You win some, you lose some. For me, it's 2a/0w/1r out of 3. This is my last post on here, good luck to everyone and thanks for keeping me company during the past few months!

Just got my acceptance offer from Iowa Film & Video Production. Tuition remission + TA-ship + contribution toward fees and health/dental insurance. Hopefully will find out soon about the Iowa Arts Fellowship (crossing all my fingers and toes and anything else that can be crossed). I'm so thrilled!!! On another note, still haven't heard anything from Michigan since they emailed to say I was basically an alternate. Anticipating a rejection letter.

Received an email last week that Iowa Film is still reviewing applications. "We do not have a specific date for decisions at this point." The great wait continues.

Just received my formal acceptance to UW Milwaukee - MFA in Film! Full tuition remission + teaching assistantship. Should hear more about funding in March. So happy and relieved. Still waiting to hear anything about my other two applications. Good luck to everyone who has been waiting and waiting and waiting like I've been.

Hey there. This forum has given me so much so I wanted to give back. I contacted U Mich for an update and received a very nice email back from graduate admissions. They have already reached out to top candidates for interviews but said I was 'reserved for a potential interview.' Crossing my fingers that I get an interview! If anyone here was selected as a top candidate, congrats and good luck!
