Yeah! This year I was offered full tuition from 
university of Florida + 22,000 a year stipend
university of Delaware + 30,000 a year stipend 
Louisiana state university + 9200 a year stipend 
I also applied to Rutgers  which is also fully funded but i I wasn’t accepted 

Hi all, 
Since I was only accepted to MICA, I'll def be going there, but am trying to decide between two programs - Mount Royal (multidisciplinary) and Photo and Electronic Media. Supposedly Mount Royal currently has a better reputation, but I got more money from PEM (50%, which is their biggest scholarship). I got 30% from Mount Royal. I've been talking to EVERYONE I can and thought maybe I'd post to this here trusty forum to see if anyone has any thoughts? 
Also, did anyone on this forum get accepted to UCLA New Genres? I don't recall seeing any acceptances. If someone was, I would love to look at their website!

@snowball0 didn't interview and haven't heard anything...someone was accepted to sculpture w/o interviewing. i keep checking this portal https://appstatus.grad.ucla.edu/Account/AppStatus.aspx

@calgone22 i interviewed with mount royal and haven't heard anything either...also haven't heard anything from CMU and i interviewed there too. i think i'll just go to outer space at this point -__________-

UC Irvine? Which program, and was it through the mail or email? Congrats!

Accepted to SVA Photography, Video and Related Media program via email. Funding - not so sure yet. That's it for me. Now time to stare down these Tesla price tags. Good luck to everyone. Fuck Trump.

For anyone waiting to hear back from UCI. I just got my acceptance letter. Best of luck to everyone else!

I was told I was one of the three candidates, and 3 more would be notified the next week. the first three to respond would be given spots. I declined because I didn't want to hold a spot while waiting to hear from other programs.

no interview, just got a phone call. alternates were supposed to be contacted sometime this week

I just received a phone call from SAIC that I have been accepted by MFA painting program with TA-ship, and she said the official offer has been shipped, which might be the one I did not receive yesterday. She also said there is no scholarship provided for international students, but she gave me the phone number of financial department to negotiate, so there might be some hope for that?

I think it went well. It was with Luca Buvoli, pretty casual. I have bad memory but here is what I remember:
-why do you want to go to grad school/MICA
-artistic and non-artistic influences
-what piece best represents your process?...talk about it
-what piece is your weakest..why
-have i read any art magazines/books
-how do i deal with critique
-ended with him asking if i had questions about the program
