  1. Hi, congratulations to your acceptance! Did you fill out FASAP for SAIC? As an international student, I did not fill that form and got nothing from the school. I am not sure if that is the reason or due to my application only.
  2. Yes, I just figured it out yesterday. Is this your first time applying? If yes, the school says it needs at least 24hrs to update your information after you started your division app. If it is not, you need to register again on the supplemental page. If it still did not work for you, you should email them personally. In my case, I just needed to re-register. Hope this can help!
  3. Hi all! I am so applying for UCLA (painting and drawing). I am wondering if anyone knows how important the personal history statement is. It seems like it is quite similar to the statement of purpose, so I am afraid there would be some repetitive content in both. Even though it is optional, I am still wondering whether it would have any effects on my application if I do not submit one. Is anyone going to submit it? I cannot open my supplemental application as well, it says I need to check my username and password. I have contacted the department to see how to fix it. Best wishes to everyone!
  4. Thank you for the info! I am just wondering whether international students will get need-based funding from Yale or not, since they do not provide merit scholarship.
  5. Also got acceptance from Hunter painting. SAIC or Hunter? What do you guys think? Any thoughts would be helpful! Thank you!
  6. For SAIC, I only know that there are about 375 applicants for painting program this year, and about 25 people are accpted.
  7. Joel (painting) and Jeffery (sculpture)interviewed me.
  8. Congratulations!!! SAIC is a great school, and I feel happy for you to have so much funding!
  9. For those of you who are worried about Hunter interviews, I just had mine through Skype. The faculties are super nice and patient. They are very willing to answer any quesitons you have. I was asked few questions during the interview: talk about your works in general, and then talk about two specific works the book you are reading artists you like why Hunter How do you want your work to develop exhibitions you like recently Lastly, Q&A I feel like just be youself, and be confident. It will be fine. Good luck to everyone!
  10. Thank you for letting me know! So glad to hear this.
  11. Thank you for the info! I applied for painting and I might have been rejected already since it is already March now.
  12. You mean calls for interview or acceptance? And what program was that?
  13. I called the financial department yesterday, and there seems no financial aid for international students (I live in Canada), but I was asked if I was willing to accept TA-ship for class when the school gave the call for acceptance, and had marked down for me. However, in the package, it states every grad student can apply for TA jobs based on professors acceptance so I am quite confused now...
  14. Did your scholarship info come with your acceptance letter together? Mine did not include any scholarship info at all.
