Hey, I lived in SLC for 15 years and I can tell you that there's a big Latino population in the city, historically on the west side of town. There's also a grocery store chain: Rancho Marke, and a lot of latino family-owned restaurants.

Really? I guess they changed it up a bit, last year they took in 5 candidates fully funded.

I got an acceptance (with funding) from UIC awhile back. They called me, no interview.

I just got a call from SAIC photo about an acceptance and a dean fellowship!

My understanding is that they have an artist in residence who kind of runs the program during their stay. You will probably interview with this person, it looks like Rebecca Ripple is in charge of sculpture. Also, the campus is beautiful, but kind of isolated... about 40 minutes away from Detroit.

The interview is scheduled for early March, maybe they are taking a while to reach out to all potential candidates. Hope you hear from them soon!
