  1. I'm a graduating senior at Baylor in the CSD undergrad program and attending UTD for graduate school. Baylor's grad program is very expensive compared to others but they offer many people scholarships. I was offered a scholarship but the cost of the graduate program with the scholarship was more expensive than other programs I applied to. The program is a semester shorter than other programs (which is a nice perk) but the program is known for being very 'high stress.' Many of my friends in the graduate program always tell me how they are always stressed and have absolutely no free time. I've also been told you have no time for a part time job (if that is something you are considering). They do however have opportunities to be a paid graduate assistant. Another perk is that the professors are very kind and friendly.

I got what appeared to be an automated email this morning from admissions-status@utdallas.edu reminding me to send in an official transcript for my application to be processed. Anybody else get this? I think the unofficial versions I submitted with my app are good enough for the current stage, but I'm just wondering if this is an auto blast or if it might signify that my application is currently being looked at, etc....

I got the same email but I received it yesterday morning. Made my heart pump a bit since it said admission status. Hopefully it was just a blast, or that our applications are getting looked at and we will have a decision soon!

I also received emails like that in the past. My email would always remind me to send in my official final transcript (which I can't until I graduate in May). So if it is asking for your final transcript and you haven't yet graduated, you should be fine. However, If it is asking for an official transcript I would call the admissions office.
