  1. Has anyone made a group for University of Houston? 99.9% sure that I'll be attending!
  2. I am still waiting on UTD as well. The only school I have not heard back from!
  3. I just heard from University of Houston today! No email, but I checked the applyweb portal and once they have made a decision, it will show "view your decision letter." If you get in, it'll also say "complete your decision form" next to it! Hoping to hear back about funding soon so I can make a decision. After interviewing with them, I really feel like this school is the best fit! Good luck to you!
  4. @hopefullyslp2be Still nothing...I'm trying not to stress out about it anymore lol. @CBG321 Thanks for the insight! I'm trying not to worry about it too much anymore because the only way that I would be able to attend UTD is if I was offered funding. So maybe waiting is a good thing
  5. There's still no updates on my application, either (says awaiting documents). I'm starting to give up any hope with this school, especially since I am also an out of state applicant.
  6. @rsolo I also received that email yesterday, however I am not interested in their bilingual or multicultural program. I'm also almost certain that I'm not going to get any funding from this school, so I won't be attending
  7. I believe that the majority of us are applying to UTD's Master of Speech-Language Pathology program. Have you checked the results search to see if others have heard back from that particular program (Humanities) yet? I would do that first and then maybe send an email to the graduate admissions director of the Humanities program asking when you will be likely to hear back from them
  8. Ahhhhh. This just makes me even more nervous!! Thanks for he update
  9. Ahh it sucks that we all have to rely on funding; they should just make school more affordable smh. I was thinking the same thing about going to the open house @snoves I would go myself, but flights from Ohio are around $500 ?
  10. Hello all! As admittance letters are rolling in, has anyone heard about funding for ASU? I emailed the Speech grad department about it and she told me that they only give funding to "highest ranked students" after review is complete. Do they usually give them out in the admission letters? Or after they already accept you? I am a bit confused because I also received an email for an invitation for "Top Admit Open House."
  11. I'm in the same boat as you. I've been noticing the same in regards to GPA/GRE scores. I've been constantly checking my email and the portal as most people say that Dr. Stillman will email you personally once you've been offered admission. Hopefully we'll hear back soon!!
  12. I did the exact same thing ha! But that is what I am guessing. A part of me feels like they only interview applicants who they are on the borderline of accepting/rejecting so they want to meet us before making that decision. Also to decide on applicants for funding. But these are all just guesses. Nonetheless, I'm sure that the interview day will be a great time!!
  13. I just received an email from them today around 5 PM inviting me for an interview. (Sucks they do not have an option for a virtual interview as I live in OHIO! -with only 2 weeks before the interview!!!!!) I do not believe that all applicants that they offer admission to go through the interview process, however.
