Thank you guys! @socialwerqer I am attending the Welcome Session in April and will be staying in Toronto for a week - beside a hotel do you guys have any suggestions for accommodation? I didn’t know much about Toronto and would desperately like some assistance.

Hey there, First of all, let me mention that I am an international student so my process may be different from others. However, I will share my information as you might find it beneficial. 1. I applied to the 1 year Advanced Standing program at UofT and I was offered admission to that very same 1 year program. 2. No. I didn’t receive any phone call. 3. No. I did not receive any email regarding my status changing on Acorn. I just happened to check it and saw that it said “Invited”. 4. My online status now says “decision made”. This was after I received the official letter in the mail, as well as email. 5. I did receive my package in the mail and it came in a big brown envelope. Hope this helps.

Hey, it came in a big brown envelope. I would say like an A4 size. Are you an international student?

Good Evening Everyone, I have been religiously checking and reading the posts on this forum and finally I decided to come out of the shadows. I have been accepted to the University of Toronto - Adavnced Standing MSW program in the stream Children and Their Families. I am an international student, specifically from the island of Barbados in the Caribbean and I am 22 years of age. When I got my acceptance letter the mail as well as the email that followed, I was still very shocked that I was offered a spot. For those of you asking, my status on SGS has now been changed to “Decision Made” even though I have not yet accepted the offer. Congratulations to all over you have gotten their letters and also to those who have been waitlisted. To those who haven’t heard back anything as yet and are still in the waiting game, don’t lose hope! It’s not over yet. If anyone hasn’t any questions please feel free to ask.
