I got into a master's program at a Cal State in Social Work. However, I was not happy so I applied to transfer. I got into the University of Washington which is a top ranked program and my tuition is covered. here are the pluses and minuses of each: cal state pluses: internship at a hospital which will help me get my license and make money sooner. minus: not well ranked, been California for a while and want to move, pay tuition (loans) University of Washington pluses: well ranked program, can move to another state (will be exciting), fresh slate, payed tuition (no loans) minuses: the weather, not a hospital internship which will make it harder to get my license and make a lot of money soon

I am from California. I got into Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) for Social Work which is #2 in the country for Social Work. I also got into a Cal State. I want to get licensed in CA and work in California after graduation. Also WashU is maybe 10k more than the Cal State. Will it be worth it to attend a high ranked MSW program or should I attend a school in the state in which I want to work and practice? I want to get my LCSW after I graduate.

Hello Everyone, Has anyone else received an acceptance or denial email yet? I applied to the Fellowship/ early deadline and have not heard from the University yet. For those of you who have received an acceptance/denial email, please let us know the time in which you submitted the application and when did you receive the acceptance/denial email. I am starting to get a little concern since I have not heard from them. Based on last year's application forum, I believe they send denials later and acceptances first Thank you very much in advance!
