I thought that was it because that's what my friend did and she heard back in two days like you. So when i had my interview I told them schools are waiting for a response for me. And they said "oh we'll give you a response this week or the beginning of next week". I had my interview 3/19 and nothing. I really didn't lie about schools needing a response NYU has had to give me two extensions. I've called hunter twice and want to call again especially since it's going to be 3 weeks on Monday. Hopefully I hear back soon. Hunter is my number one choice.

hmm that's weird. I got my financial aid package a week after doing my FAFSA and I haven't given them a deposit for admission. Try calling them and asking for it

sorry if i wasn't clear. I mean if you told them that you need a response soon? I heard that if you tell them other schools are waiting for you to give them a response they give you a response sooner.

Hey you don’t have to accept NYUs offer I think just add them on your fafsa that’s what i did

Hey I applied the first week of February and heard back the week after. Which I was really surprised about. You should call and ask if your application is affected because your recommendations were submitted late.

Do you know if the official aid award not is the same thing as the financial aid award notification? I received my financial aid package today. But I think it all depends when you’re accepted and when you complete your FAFSA.

Thank you for replying! I definitely have a lot to think about. I was trying to do the math and just got overwhelmed by everything. I might call NYU tomorrow. After doing my math NYU and hunter came out to almost the same cost after my $17,000 scholarship which I found surprising so I don’t think I got the math right.

What made you guys decide on NYU? I was accepted to both NYU and Columbia and I'm still waiting to hear back from Hunter and Lehman. I would love to go to NYU. But, I'm leaning more towards the Public colleges because of the cost. I'm scared I'll be in debt forever.

Are you sure you haven't received an email asking you to schedule an interview? if you haven't call them and tell them that you haven't but there your portal says pending interview

I was also accepted to NYU and Columbia and I'm just waiting on Hunter. Do you know what school you will attend?

I had my interview on 3/19. And I'm super nervous because I haven't heard back yet. I saw that someone on this thread heard back in two days and i also know someone that heard back in two days. I've had to ask NYU for two extensions already. Hunter is honestly my number one choice. I hate having to wait!
