Andrew McClellan (Tufts) - he is a top scholar in this field and has written textbooks on the subject. I believe he went to Courtauld for phD so you may want to see who he studied under there too.

Alexander Alberro (Columbia) and Benjamin Buchloh (Harvard) have both written on Institutional Critique. Possibly some of their former advisees have also chosen this as an area of study and are now teaching at other institutions?

I think any scholar working on contemporary art and social critique (so pretty much any scholar working on contemporary art!) would be able to advice a dissertation on this topic. Look widely and identify scholars whose methodological orientations mostly neatly align with yours.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update! I heard back from the MET that the MuSe internships are still going on, but not during summer. Instead of the regular dates, they moved the whole program to a September start date/ November end date. Of course this isn't ideal for non-NYC people but I am quite surprised and pleased that they chose to continue the internship program rather than completely cancelling it like most places. Hope the answer is helpful and best of luck to everyone.

It was supposed to be April 5th. I called the education department yesterday and they apologized and told me that there was a delay. The lady on the phone told me that people will hear back next week at the latest. Hope this was helpful and wishing you the best of luck!
