Hi everyone, I'm intending to apply for admission to MFA programs in poetry. I've never been formally trained or mentored in creative writing and I'm not sure how to approach the portfolio process... Anyone willing to share tips on creating an impressive, well-rounded "writing sample" / portfolio? THANK YOU

Next week, I have to interview faculty interested in serving as either an advisor or second reader to my thesis (MA English Lit. btw). (1) What questions should I ask them to ensure that we will work well together? (2) What other advice do you have for this process? Thanks
