my toefl is 103, and i need to take that test. it is on my to do list.that might not be the condition for the test.. @ timebarrier By the way I searched some off-campus housing alternatives and the housing alternatives at stanford seemed to be at a reasonable price if you don't want to travel a lot in a day. unofficial.stanford.edu is where i looked up some apartments, https://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/chs/general/chs/campus/webauth/listings/apartments.html is another address to look at, stanford directed website. there are lots of options there, apartments, rooms, shared housing,etc.. still I will go for the on-campus housing but It is your choice in the end..

yesterday i also called the secretary, she told me the funding decisions were to be made yesterday afternoon, but instead i was sent an email about the list of students whom i can connect to get info about stanford life, lessons,etc. so is there anyone who has heard about Stanford CEM funding?

I am not that comfortable but i hope for the best now.

I will ask about housing. Is Rains 2 bedroom more comfortable than EV 2 bedroom efficiency ? the same quesiton for Lyman 2 bedroom and Rains 2 bedroom? the housing applications will start on April 14, so i think it is good to be prepared beforehand..

actually, i deferred it because i couldn't satisfy the financial requirements last year. i missed the info that you were heading for structures. that was what i asked.. see you in fall then

@s1u8n I was also admitted for Stanford CEM last year and waiting for funding decision now, can you ask when they will announce the decisions. I was also told that I would be informed as soon as they made the decision. and also ı still did not hear another Stanford MS CEM admission, are you one of 'em. @timebarrier I also think that it will worth the costs once you get into Stanford

woww that is really early and good. i was admitted to CEM last year, i deferred it and now i am waiting for financial aid decision. i hope it will come sooner.. =)

When did you exactly submit your application, I am still waiting for Stanford's decision too. You can be a benchmark of comparison for me. I applied on Jan 13.

I am waiting for Stanford's CEM program too. If admitted students post their scores, or help us to learn info about them, we can be relieved while April 15 is approaching. I think information flow between students is very important because the department is busy on the admission process and doesn't return ay answers to individiual inquiries.. so please keep us informed =)
