That's where I applied! Hoping to hear back in February if I got a Fellowship or not! I also applied to Art Farm and Wassaic Project! Maybe I'll see you in Vermont!
Thanks for the advice! I'll probably end up keeping them all neutral, even though changing it up is so tempting D: (Btw I just looked at your website and I love your work!)
Question
Do you think it's okay to play around with background colors when editing photographs of sculptures? I feel like some of my pieces look better on a background that isn't white, but I don't want the photos to come off as too edited if I choose a different color.
I was able to find out quite a bit about acceptance rates on this website: https://www.petersons.com
For most of the schools that I am applying to it listed the amount of people that apply to the specific program, and how many get accepted. So it's not just the overall acceptance rate of the school. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know if you are applying to an interdisciplinary program if you they would prefer you to include images from different concentrations even if you tend to focus on just one?
Hi Everyone!
I am starting to get super stressed out about applying! I'm wanting to go for Sculpture. I haven't completely narrowed it down yet but am thinking about:
Pratt
MassArt
Tyler
MICA
Carnegie Mellon
Hunter
Rutgers
NYU
How is everyone's statement of purpose/intent writing going? I'm struggling with it a bit! Anyone else?
Also my website is: karrileamonart.com (Need to add pieces and update a bit.) Would love any feedback!
Thanks!
