So I called them (i'm applying for the UCLA Screenwriting program) and they said you dont need to do the personal history statement. you can either leave it blank or put your SOP there. i dont know if it's the same for all the programs in the department but you can call them and double check. I left mine blank. I am super nervous with the SOPs. Has anyone worked on theirs? I dont know what to put on the SOP. I've made it quite personal but I'm not sure if they require a more technical "this is why i want to do this and this is how i will do it" kind of essay
